There is no contract period, no notice period, and no cancellation fee. Every merchant can close their store at any time, directly from their own dashboard (Settings → Store → Close your store) — no phone call or email required. (We charge nothing to leave. Subscription charges already paid are not refunded — see section 3, which also covers moving a yearly plan to monthly as account credit.)
Your storefront goes offline immediately and your store content is removed. Any sales money still due to you is paid out to your verified bank account. We keep only the financial records South African law requires us to keep.
You will not be billed again after you cancel. Free trials simply end — nothing to cancel, nothing charged. When you cancel, you keep access for the rest of the period you've already paid for.
Subscription charges are non-refundable. The yearly price is a discounted rate given in exchange for committing to a full year, so cancelling part-way through a year does not produce a cash refund of the remaining months.
If something went wrong, talk to us. We review accidental renewals and billing mistakes individually — email support@frontstore.co.za and a person will look at it.
On a yearly plan and your needs changed? Rather than cancelling outright, you can ask to move back to monthly billing: the value remaining on your year is applied to your account as credit against future months, instead of being paid out in cash. You keep the value, and you're not locked into a year that no longer suits you.
You don't have to leave just because business is slow. Talk to us first at our contact page — we would rather find a way to keep your store open than see you close it.
A shopper cancelling or returning an order from a Frontstore store is covered by that store's own Returns & Refunds policy, published in the store's footer — every store must have one before it can trade.
